For a Gateway to get outside of the local network and connect to the GroSens cloud, there are a few core network requirements.
Note: If you are using a non-professional router then the below should not be an issue.
The below ports and domains need to be whitelisted on customer's Firewall:
The things network
TPC port 443:
- controlportals.eu1.cloud.thethings.industries (EU, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia)
- controlportals.nam1.cloud.thethings.industries (US, Canada)
- controlportals.au1.cloud.thethings.industries port ( Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Japan)
WisDM
TCP port 443 and 22
- Remote management platform
- *.wisdm.network
- in case customer cannot use wild cards these are the subdomains:
-
wisdm.rakwireless.comapi-develop.wisdm.rakwireless.comapi.wisdm.rakwireless.comssh-tun.wisdm.rakwireless.comwisdm.networkapi-eu.wisdm.networkapi.wisdm.networkcore-us.wisdm.networklog-eu.wisdm.networkota-eu.wisdm.network

- in case customer cannot use wild cards these are the subdomains:
- 3.75.78.180
- 3.73.157.219
- as7cnaqfm7pfs ats.iot.eu-central-1.amazonaws.com
- awsiot.wisdm.network

- nwtijs8xc8.execute-api.eu-central-1.amazonaws.com
- *.wisdm.network
- Our gateways uses IP addresses to track the interface connection to the internet. The default ones are:
- 8.8.8.8
- 208.67.220.220
- 114.114.114.114
- NTP server for time synchronization
- *.openwrt.pool.ntp.org
- Additional ports required:
- TCP 8887
- TCP 443
- UDP 1700
- TCP 1883
- TCP 8883
Note: Deploying devices in heavily restricted networks, such as behind country-level firewalls, may affect the ability of the device to connect to the GroSens Cloud VPN and is not guaranteed to work.
