What are the Gateway's ports Domains and requirements? – Grodan

For a Gateway to get outside of the local network and connect to the GroSens cloud, there are a few core network requirements.

Note: If you are using a non-professional router then the below should not be an issue.

The below ports and domains need to be whitelisted on customer's Firewall:

The things network

TPC port 443:

controlportals.eu1.cloud.thethings.industries (EU, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia)
controlportals.nam1.cloud.thethings.industries (US, Canada)
controlportals.au1.cloud.thethings.industries port ( Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Japan)

Our gateways uses IP addresses to track the interface connection to the internet. The default ones are:

NTP server for time synchronization

Additional ports required:
- TCP 8887
- TCP 443
- UDP 1700
- TCP 1883
- TCP 8883

Note: Deploying devices in heavily restricted networks, such as behind country-level firewalls, may affect the ability of the device to connect to the GroSens Cloud VPN and is not guaranteed to work.
