Network requirements 1.0 systems (Firewall)

If you have a 1.0 Grosens system (with Smartbox) in a firewall-protected environment and want to access the latest software, firmware, and models, ask your IT Specialist to configure the system as described below:

Whitelist and open the following ports and domains:

1. e-Gro services at https://e-gro.grodan.com ip: 37.97.150.235 - port: tcp 443
2. device-api.egro.grodan.com, port 443
3. *.balena-cloud.com, port 443
4. Software updates at http://repos.decagon.com ip: 64.126.164.28 - port: tcp 80
5. VPN connection ip: 64.126.164.19 - port: udp 1194
6. VPN service at smartbox.controlportals.com  ip: 3.122.172.168 - port: tcp 443
7. VPN configuration portal at http://scriportal.decagon.com ip: 64.126.164.101 - port: tcp 80

It’s recommended to whitelist the URLs above to avoid issues if portal IP addresses change. If that’s not possible, open the specified ports along with the listed IP addresses.
